The weird white spot on my big toe? I've seen it on everybody's feet after they've walked barefoot for a while. What causes it? It's not a calise or anything is it?

Yup it's a callous... It's just dry dead skin. Sometimes, esp. on the big toe, it can accumulate and give a weird shape. Best thing... just shave it off with a callous scraper. It'll probably keep coming back... but welcome to the barefoot club.

callous, its a nice one to, i wouldnt worry just means your feet are getting stronger and will be able to take more beating when you walk..

Ok. The weirdest thing about it is they're WHITE. even if I walk the dirdy black streets, every part of my foot will be black EXCEPT for that one spot. Wierd.

it's white cause it's dead layers of skin which are kind of lifted from the inner skin, i get em from dancing barefoot all the time. never caused me any harm, except when i got a piece of glass stuck in one and didn't notice and the skin kinda grew around it after a while, man that sucked to dig out...

Just leave it alone. If it doesn't bother you, don't bother it. It's your body putting hard skin where it's needed so you can go barefoot.

    Speaking of this...
The weirdest thing happened to me when I got out of the shower last night, I touched the bottom of my foot, and there was a big bubble; sort of like a blister, but it was just dead skin, it was annoying as hell so I popped it, and when I did that all the skin just like fell off...
Anyone ever have that happen? And what is it?

It itched a lot before I popped it, but it wasn't a blister, it wasn't filled with anything...

Walked to 7-11, and just around a parking lot. That's about it, been inside most of the time.

Yeah I have small callouses on both my big toes, prevents me from getting blisters. Just leave it be is my opinion.
