1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

Hey where are all the Macintosh people? Just kidding. I have a Mac Mini, A G4, a shitty iBook and an original iMac (circa 1998) which I am currently upgrading, I added more ram, an 80 gig hard drive and as soon as I find a copy of OS 9.1, I will be able to partition the hard drive and put Mac OS X and 9.1 on there, hopefully i will find a copy of Mac OS 9.1 somewhere for sale on the net.

I've built all my computers (desktops) except for my first, and that one I kept long after it's original useful days by upgrading parts.
Edit: other than buying a laptop, I wouldn't buy a computer. Go clones!

For those of you using Intel products, AMD is far superior.
