It's called an opinion, you twit. Ha, you're obviously ignorant about modern music if you generalize all of it. Have some variety, you robot.

Hey Asmodean is listening to Pentangle hit "Light Flight"! ...this song is waoow well it's one of the best of their -Basket of Light- album (the only i own of them).

    And Hiddendoor
Yeah Ekland... mmhhh well there's no words ...it's all in her poetic movements i tell ya...
And do you remember when he get out of the bar at night in the beginning of the film... he saw a lot of strange acid scene with a lot of pagan nonsense but probably behind those absurd scene there's always a signification hidden behind this... (u the hiddendoor maybe you had an explanation :H )
Only the men who see with his third eye can understand those scenes... am i one of them...maybe... i've got to see again this movie you give me envy again.

And The Creation are real cool mods ...Jimmy Page was surrely influenced by the Creation Guitarist !
And you tell me that he became bus driver!:$ there's no justice anymore... i try i try but i can't imagine seriously that he became the magical mystery bus driver :sunglasse ...oh cruel destiny...
Ho Shit the place is already taken by a man called Freddy Krueger (check the Freddy II from 1982: there's a strange psychedelic nightmare scene with Freddy who drive the bus from the city to the desert...) and now i understand why the beatles split so fastly and tragicly after the Magical Mystery Tour...
It was the driver of the magical bus ...damn i understood everything!

    uhm...

I listen to something to calm my puzzle mind (freddy never help):

    The Who
    "Relax"
-The Who Sell Out- LP 1967

It's the album just before -Tommy- and this song is one of my best song of Daltrey and Company ever!

This is often an American habit.... for a large majority of americans "the Who" release their first album in 69 and it was "Tommy". It's strange 'cause in early 66 "my generation" was a hit single in america. And in the summer 67 they play a memorable show in the Monterey Festival...

I don't know in which album is the song "roundabout" by Yes but i'm not a fan of this band ...i can't follow them in their exuberents and absurd jams ...but sometimes i can find 1 min or 2 min. of good music in their long titles but sadly they change constantly their music and often not for good.
But i will probably buy one day at low price their two first album (69-70) it contains "normal" songs of 4 min. and i like better their psychedelic late 60's sound.

    I listen to :

    Nazareth
    "Beggars Day"
-Hair of the Dog- LP 1975

This album was a big success at that time . This song long of 6 min if i remember contain 2 parts ...the first one is painfull heavy metal with the loud voice of the scottish singer ...who really sing like a beggar...full of pain and mysery...it's a good part but the 2nd/last 2 minutes are magic , this is a incredible guitar solo...this part change completely , it's psychedelic rock who try to reach the heaven with every note...
I recommend really this second part... "we're free of all human conditions" when we here it ... it's really great if you smoke great stuff 2.

The sound of the band on Beggars Day is real good. It's got a marching type of drive to it. I don't like the singers voice though. It feels like he's screamin too much and not singing enough.

There is a rapid crescendo at the end which leads to them finishing the song on the major conterpart of the minor chord for the scale they were playing in. I feel that such a technique doesn't work well with the song.

    Listening To:

    Dirty Dozen Brass Band
    "Ain't Nothin' But A Party"

mmmhhh it's not every day that somebody talk 'bout those soft hippies... but i'm a big fan of the hollies of 66-68 when Graham Nash was probably the leader.
After Nash departure, They still good from 69 to 74 (but the magic touch is gone) , but never talk me about their horrible late 70's album...
It's sad that most people forgot them... they were one of the most popular 60's band...
They were running after the psychedelic hype and where very close to the beatles...but ...mmmh i always regret that Nash leaves the band to form Crosby Still Nash ...
So it's clear that the Hollies loose a great potential for their future albums...

I listen to the psychedelic medieval jewel:

    The Hollies (with Nash)
    "Ye Olde Toffee Shoppe"
    -Evolution- LP Mai 1967
