Marlboro Lights (yuck)

I don't know, I just can't stand the taste of them. They're the only brand of cigarette that I just cannot smoke (even though I barely smoke anymore)...they have a weird sort of taste to them. Does anyone else not like em, or any other brand?

 

i dont think theyre horrible, but i really hate salems. i only been smoking newport 100s for the past 4 years though.

 

i've always hated marlboro lights, but around here it's what about 1/2 of all smokers regularly buy, to hear the gas station clerks tell it. my favorites were dunhill lights, dunhill special reserve, camel milds, gauloises, camel turkish gold (new blend), and kamel reds, but only the reds and the turkish gold could be bought in a gas station, the others are imports and you gotta get them at tobacconists or mail order.......

ugh, i'm glad i quit smoking though.

 

Yeah, they're the Diet Coke of cigs...EVERYONE smokes them. There's always like 7 rows of them at the gas stations, and maybe 2 rows of everything else.

 

I have been smoking Marlboro Reds for about 3 years now, but am starting to not like the taste, my friend switched to turkish silvers or something, im thinking of switching too because im really loving the taste of them.

 

I can stand Marlboro Lights, but my dad smokes Mediums...they always make me want to gag and vomit for some reason.

I loved the Camel Mandarin Mint exotic blends, but nobody sells them around here anymore. I stick to the old-school Camel Menthol, but generally substitute with Turkish Jades or Wides (non-menthol) in that order.

 

smoked camel light and filters for the past 5 years, dabbled with some p funks, and then in the last six monthes switched to marlboro lights. I used to think they were disgusting, but after smokin them for a little while i was hooked. For me, it tastes like there is less chemicals in them, compared to camels. obviously this is just mental, but that is what i smoke now.

 

actually, most "light" cigarettes have MORE added chemicals in them than their "full flavor" counterparts. usually the "smoothness" is the result of additives used to mellow the flavor and make it FEEL more comfortable to actually smoke it......but it doesn't make it better for you. the actual act of smoking it feels better, but it always made my throat feel a lot worse to smoke lights for more than a couple days. the one advantage they have is a usually lower level of nicotine (not true with players lights though....whew, they pack a punch)

i liked p-funks pretty well, but only the full flavors. parliament lights are some of the least satisfying premium cigarettes out there. i'd much prefer something like a benson and hedges or a camel turkish royal or turkish gold.

 

I don't stick to one single brand, because I like to try new stuff, plus I don't want to get stick of the taste.

 

i started with marlboro reds but they were to strong then went to marlboro lights but they tasted weird and made my mouth feel dry then started smokin marlboro 27's and stuck with it (especially with 2 for 1 shit they have sometimes at the smokeshop)

i hate marb lights! from what i have noticed it seems like the standard girls cigarette. don't see many guys smoking them and basically every girl i know does so...

i like camels.

 

Camel Lights are better.

 

I smoke marb reds, occasionally a light if its the only thing around. Its bad to say but I get headaches sometimes if I smoke a diff brand like camel or something.

 

I smoke reserves because they're cheap and I don't really notice the taste between different cigarrettes other than the difference between menthol and lights. Also, reserves are really cheap for a carton (i think 16 bucks CDN currency). The only thing is though that you can find some really fucked up stuff in the tobacco... I sometimes find twigs and stuff. Once, I found a shard of glass inside... That was when I was practicing rolling joints by using tobacco instead of weed so I don't waste all my stash.

i like smoking cigarets, but marlboro MILDS are my favorite (menthol), camel silver and golds are my favorite nomral cigs,

 

i used to smoke malboro lights and more recently the ultra lights but thats really the only cig that i can tolerate. i've always HATED camels and thought that they tasted like poo.

 

Pretty good poo. I like Turkish Golds, Marb reds, Darium flavored cigs(mmmm) And my favorite are wides. So wide every time you take a drag, it almost feels dirty.

 

marlboro lights are fucking gross, i like reds though
