hey hey..ok then were leaving in may from toronto out west to the yukon.....does that answer you question about the west??? then down the west coast the america then threw south america, I am friends with a gypsy tribe on nomadic on horses from brazil to mexico there in costa rioca now......any way were trading members for 100 miles when we hook up some of us on the bus some of us on there horses and some of them on our bus.....riding horse back threw south america sounds dope to me...

im chillin in hamilton ontario and waiting for the next bus it was a fun trip i meet so many people and loved the whole trip now im just chillin in downtown hamilton waiting till the next bus i came from south florida and went to san fran and meet drew and he took me to canadia and well it was a tad bit cold but it was a awsome trip and im waiting for the bus so i can go again and help build it but if theres anyone that wants to travel i highly recomend joining this hippie / gypsey bus it rules its the most fun ive ever had and annie is sexy auto bus bus rocks

hey all you hippies, gypsies, lovers of travelling... travelling on the highway child has easily been the best and most gratifying experience of my life. I began travelling on the highway child on and off for about 4 years now, each time its been different, sometimes challenging, but all over amazing. ive seen many new place, met many incredible people. Drew ( the captain of the bus) is an amazing person, and i cannot wait to travel with him on the up coming bus, tho sometimes he can be a pill (hard to take) in the long run, it was all worth it!!! Hey Drew, had a question for ya. Im taking off out of Portland in the next 5 days and Ive got a few potential buses lined up. One of them is propane. Just wondering what you thought since your other bus was propane and you had some experience with it. You know cost, inclines, availability etc. Hope everything is going well.

PS anyone looking to caravan let me know, Im travelling with my girlfriend and dog as a fmaily unit but if you have your own vehicle we'd enjoy some company for a run. Headed to the SW US in a week, then east then North Be in Ontario around the end of September, then to BC and Mexico to teach English for the winter then we have work and a place to stay lined up in Costa Rica. I may even have a vehicle for anyone interested. Its a conversion van, the size of a starcraft or something along those lines, sink fridge, bed, table etc. Just needs new tires. contact me if interested. Oh and we'll be selling stained glass work, functional glass, hemp, knit products, insense maybe a few other things for gas and food.

 

Propane is a huge hassle. I travelled with my brother a bit in his propane truck, and when we could manage to find propane, we sometimes had to wait for the 'licenced' filler to come on shift. Like here in Oregon, where you can't pump your own gas, you can't fill your own propane tank, and fuck that facism, if you ask me.

 

....yeah and in some restraunts you can not get your own food...fucking facists

i talked to branid yesterday, she's the only one that seems to try to keep in touch....it's been ayear! i miss you all! and i would love to have some type of reunion.

 

hey eclips...yeah propane burns clean but it can be hard to fnd from time to time...
bad mileage....
if you do go that way it is alot cheaper than diesel or gas 49 c a liter right now...cheaper in some plaves...majr centers is a good place to fill up..cottage country can duble the cost
get a droptank line that fills from a bbq tank to a veichle tank...MAKE SURE YOU Dont leave without one...there illegal because you do have to be licenced to use one..but if you ever run out of fuel and its hard not to most of the time fuel gages on prpane doeant work very well..but it is next to impossible to get propane deliverd to the side of the road...you need a drop line

we have a whole new prcess od decision making involving a councel of those with so many miles on board...were travelling with three other buses and meetting with our sister bus the ship of fools in new mexico....
we are doing a documentory....proffesionally though...I even hired a producer....

well im bck i dropped another 5 into this machine..Im at a truck stop in detroit on the way bck from st louis missurie...erin I was about 6 hours north of you...closest I ever came to arkansa...it would be cool to meet up with some past members of highwaychild...n interview would be an iteresting faucet ..kinda looking back at things...I dont know just a thought

but it would be cool if you could cravan for a while eclipse...havnt quite nailed down the politics with the other buses..though it would be a counsel of some sorts..still trying to figure that end out...im thinking though everyone has a say the captan of each bus sets there own rulles as long as those rulles dont nfringe on other buses...each captain meets up ever so often with the others and votes on a course of action that would effect the whole train.....I mean thats basically the concept aswe are seeing it as now...

atthe end of the documentory each captain would get a share of the profits (after expenses Im paying out of my own pocket) then that would benifit each bus to bring us even further..

I mean just for the short time you two were on the bus what adventures/misadventures befell us.
