Big Day Out 2005..who is it?

Has anyone heard about possibilities of whos headlining or playng the big day out,.
I've heard that maybe its The Pixies...but im in china teaching english so i wouldnt have a clue to what the radio is saying.
What have you heard? :H

 

Ive heard rumours that the flaming lips might be playing again, but im not to sure, fingers crossed that they are.

 

metellica said they are either coming back next year or 2006. Wouldnt mind seeing the Darkness again.

 

Well i heard Chemical Brothers were gonna play, that'd be rad, but my source ain't too reliable. Mmm-hmm.

I've heard that Beastie Boys and The Pixies are playing.
I dunno how much of this is true but I think Limpbizkit SHOULD come back to these shores and show us why their shows are rated as amongst the best. :sunglasse

i hear they give a great concert though, which is normally more important to have fun at a concert..but yeah, most their stuff sucks

and with the concert - fun is good, but I would personally have more fun at a concert where I could listen to a whole song without my head exploding from the dickiness of the band....

 

Well i hear that SLIPKNOT are goin to be playing which would totally kick arse its aparently been confirmed by the band and the ROCK radio station!! a totally kick arse performance could be expected from them i reckon something a little scary to knock your socks off at the BIGGEST DAY OUT!!

i absolutely LOVED IT last year go mettalica, go darkness go salmonella dub F*CKIN KICKED ASS!!!!!

 

yeah i heard slipknot will be there to aye, should be interesting. metellica went off last year i loved it, i actually ended up winning dave gibsons (lead singer elemeno p) t shirt he wore at the BDO, yay for me. hope deja voodoo come back lolz

 

i heard that AC/DC, The Pixies and the Beastie Boys were all tipped to play.

 

ewwwwwwwwww the Beastie Boys, Rosie hates them with a PASSION you should see her flip out when they come on the TV and radio it is HILARIOUS.

and yes the darkness rock my socks. They are damn funny, with great taste in clothing and epic videoness.

i also heard the rumours about coldplay, franz ferdinand (yey much) and others.... oh Id SOO go if FF were playing - the dark of the matinee is a wicked, wicked choicely awesome song.

 

Papa Roach, according to some friends from 'Beat', are considering it. So are Unwritten Law, Taking Back Sunday.
Audioslave have also been on the cards for a while... nothing definate yet. Whatever happens, if either Jet or the Datsuns play, I'm not going.

 

latest Rumors from nick and Rodge this morning on the Rock said 99% ACDC were coming. Slip Knot also Rumored to be coming. Franz Ferdinand, Jet, Coldplay and The Datsons are all 50/50 to be coming aswell. Never heard anything about the Beastie Boys though. then you got the classic NZ acts like, Elemeno P,Deja Voodoo,Steriogram ect ect.....
