Thanks man, I don't really worry as much, but anyway I can't avoid those thoughts about if what I'm doing is really what I want to do, so I try. This is just a part of the way towards the destruction of the ego, a hard but interesting way.

YUHUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! I recovered my Amelie's DVD. It was my ex who kept it but i managed to take it back without seeing her, hehehehe, don't ask how, hehehehe.
The DVD does... you gotta check the VHS casset if you got VHS... Not hard to understand at all, with or without subtitles... I LOVED LOVED LOVED that movie...everything.. .the colours, the story line, the comic remarks, the witty filmaking...everything!!!
its subtitled, but that makes it even more fantastic.I LOVED when we find out about the photobooth guy

i didnt know the title was that simple in us. in brazil it had a huge title. anyway, french movies never cease to surprise me. this one specially seemed to come out of my dreams. i fell in love with amelie. as always, i pay a lot of attention to the soundtrack and it fits perfectly. a melie´s whole atmosphere smells like flowers. a very bucolic feeling took my body. curiously felt like i missed something i´ve never lived. wonderful.
i loved this movie so much, i can't say how much. i watched it with my girlfriend and it made me love her more! the feelings in it and the story, wow. i love the part when amelie lays out that long path to try and find her, and the dude goes all the way to the top just to see her waving at him. the whole film just builds up to the beautiful climax at the end. i love the imagery in it too, very very clever. i need to watch it again, but not on my own. love Jaz xxx
I was reading through this topic and thinking "I can't beleive that no one has mentioned the part where she walks with the blind man describing what she sees" and then sure enough, it was on the very last post. That part just really gets me, I don't know whether to smile, or cry! The whole movie is just incredible, and to the person that asked what it was about, I would have to agree that it was impossible to describe - you just have to watch it!
