Will Ferrell ( almost every character is classic) tim meadows (excellent oj simpson) chris farley (one of the best)
That's tough. For impersonators, Carvey and Hartman. Gilda is my favorite from the original cast. That one sketch with Farley impersonating Meatloaf and singing with Phil Hartman doing Frank Sinatra always stuck in my brain. I don't know how the heck they think those things up.
Dan Akroyd Steve martin (love it when he did the two wild and crazy guys) eddie murphy Chevy Chase Belushi Bill Murray Chris farley Will Ferrell Kevin Neland(sp) Dennis Miller Adam Sandler David Spade John Lovits Jane Curtin Phil Hartman all i can think off now..
Jan Hooks and Phil Hartman Adam Sandler and Chris Farley Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch Tina Fey is great at weekend update! ... and of course the late, great Gilda Radner!!!
uh, no... I only named 15 people and how many years and cast member are there?? sorry you have such a problem with my list champ want me to buy you some huggies, since you are crying about it...
There's lots of tapes of SNL on the web, Ebay, and half.com going all the way back to the original cast. They have some of the best sketches on those tapes. There's tapes for individuals too. I have the Steve Martin one and a few others. .
Gilda...always and forever!! John and Dan were pretty great too...hell, the whole original cast was wonderful...
I like the older SNL better. Loved just about all of the ones from the past. I hate the way SNL changed in the recent years. The writing absolutely stinks these days, IMHO. Just nothing is funny anymore. The only people I still like on the show are Darrel Hammond and Chris Parnell, but even their talents are not used much anymore. Can't stand Amy Powler, she is so stuck on herself! Hope the show changes for the better and get a turn around to the way it used to be. (But then everything changed in today's TV for the worst, not a whole lot of good shows left. Again, in my opinion!)
