I usually date girls around 25-26. I'm 20. I don't usually date younger girls but there have been a few. Right now I'm talking to a girl thats 30. She seems pretty cool.

 

Yeah, i was 26, she was 38. Was good fun, but we wanted different things - and i couldn't cope with her kids very well.

What do I answer if I'm gay?

 

In my freshman year of college, i had an affair with a woman 10 years older than me. She was engaged to a doctor, and had a repressed lifestyle. I came along in one of her art classes, i was her poet starving artist romance, and she was my Mrs Robinson.
She tried to deny and play hard to get, but when the pants came off, she fucked my brains out lol. I sucked.

Anyway, it didnt work out, saw her years later, im married, grown up with children, and she was married to her doctor, living the same sheltered life i tried to save her from.

Older women seem to have a little more experience and freak on there shoulders, I def. go for the older ladies all the time. I was with a 26 year old when I was 16 and she basically taught me the ropes that I swing from proudly now!

 

When I posted my first reply to this post on July 7, I said that it was hard for me to imagine being in a relationship with someone who was more than ten years younger than myself, because of a cultural gap between generations.

Since then, I've been to a Rainbow Gathering in Quebec, where, at 52, I may have been the oldest person among 200-or-so French-Canadian second-generation hippies half my age -- many of whom brought their own children who ranged in age from newborn to 12 years.

Today, as I was reviewing some of my earlier postngs on other subjects -- particularly interracial relationships -- the more I found myself wondering if I was born 10 to 20 years too soon.

Those who have the most progressive viewpoints on subjects like this are young enough to be my children. At the same time, too many of my Baby Boomer peers are, as they grow older, becoming as socially and politically conservative as my parents' World War II-era G.I. Generation -- embracing the very same strait-jacket values my generation rebelled against nearly 40 years ago.

It's as if the social and sexual revolutions that we Baby Boomers launched in the '60s and '70s never happened. And I feel deeply betrayed (On the other hand, it's hard to maintain an alternative lifestyle when you've got kids to raise -- and I've never had kids).

I now find myself socially caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place: I don't feel compatible with many of my own generation anymore, but I'm too old for many younger people whom I DO feel compatible with.

Complicating matters is that while I physically look 20 to 30 years younger than I actually am (Contrary to my avatar, my hair and facial whiskers STILL haven't turned grey), it's hard for me to reminisce about the cultural icons of my life with someone under 30 who's too young to remember them.

I'm both openly polyamorous and bisexual -- a fact that doesn't sit well with many women. I have a gay-male life partner of 20 years whom I won't give up. But I don't want to pass away without having known the joy of partnership with a woman, either.

For one who dished out a lot of advice to others on this forum, this time I'm the one who needs advice. What would you recommend I do (And please, serious suggestions only)?

I've done it with both older and younger guys, and the older guys know what there doing. Especially if they are experienced. Plus I think older guys tend to really want to make sure your tooken care of, (if ya know I mean). In my experiences they've always wanted to make sure I was pleasured.
