When I was growing up my brothers & I only saw cartoons on Saturday. Now you can watch them 7 days a week. We had cartoons like "Bugs Bunny", "Smurfs", "Slyvester & Tweety", "H R Puf-N-Stuff","Superfriends","Electric Company" and yes thank god "Sesame Street" is still on.
After my oldest daughter was born we enjoyed "Fraggle Rock"."She also got hooked on "She-ra and He Man" Now my 2 grand kids watch shows like "Rugrats","The Simpsons", "Ed, Edd, & Eddy", "Pokemon", "Digimon", and other ridiculous shows that I can't think of now.
What cartoons did you watch as a kid? What cartoons or young kids shows do you watch now?

My cousins little girl is watching "Tom & Jerry" right now. I haven't seen that show for yrs when my brother used to watch it years ago, and almost forgot about it. My brother used to get a kick out of "Chip & Dale". Guess cartoons sure have changed since I was a kid.

Back in Nov, 2001, I took a trip to mainland China. The tour guide mentioned only several years prior, thier TV started to show American Cartoons. He mentioned specifically Tom and Jerry. At first they didn't know quite what to make of it, then it became quite popular. In fact, American Cartoons are very popular over there.

Anybody remember "Roger Ramjet" and "Super Chicken", from the late 60's. They didn't last very long, but they were funny. I think they were from the same group that came out with "Rocky and Bullwinkel".
