well, the nape isn't too hard to tattoo - but around towards the front of the neck the skin is looser. it also hurts more, and you'll jump around more, so it's more difficult to do. you know how they stretch your skin taught while they tattoo, right? pinch your skin up on your arm, the back of your neck, and the front of your neck and you'll see exactly what i mean - if the artist has to really stretch it out they'll sometimes need an assistant - or at least get a major cramp in their hand stretching while inking. ask your artist first to see if'n they are gonna charge ya extra for where you want it.
IMO, you should go with an original piece that represents you in some way. Sure the tat looks cool, but why get something that somebody else already has?
Your friend got ripped off, sorry. I cant stand it when artists over charge on tattoos, especially something as simple as a tribal design.
... yes i should get something that represents me remember how you people dont know what i'm like usually well this is something that actually does represent me because i've had a zillion surgeries so i want to have an "easy acess" lol... yes i'm weird but it does represent me
I think it might be more the fact that someone is already walking around with it on them and funny yes once...second time..ha...ha.....it loses it's appeal when it's a copy...:H
yeah, but there's no way it's gonna be an exact duplicate, no two artists ever do it the same way - and after looking at the pic again, it really doesn't even look like an actual tattoo, it looks like a photoshop pic. do you know if it really is a tattoo already?
yeah the picture is an "airbrush" it isnt a real tattoo i just wanted to show an example of what i wanted to get
I am also going to respectfully say no... it's a cool design, but I just can't see anyone loving this design for the rest of their life. If anything, i would suggest waiting for at least a year before getting it just to be sure. You're very young also, and I know that I had to be 18 when I got mine. My choice of what I wanted when I was 16 was very different from when I was 18.
Just to be different, I'm going to tell you to get it. If it means something to you, then go for it. No matter what tats you get, they're all gonna change a li'l as you age. Why not have something you love? It's very cool, in my opinion. Just be sure it's what you want, because remember, once it's on there, it ain't coming off! Now, it is big, though, so it'll hurt a bit and cost a bit... Probably a lot, actually. However, you're 16, I believe... So, that means that right now, you'd need a parent there to say you're allowed to get it. I'm not sure, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess your 'rents may not be willing to agree to this...? If that's the case, just wait until your eighteen. If you still love it and want it then, definitely get it. If you parents are cool and let you get it, though, congrats. PS Post pix afterwards, eh?
