24 hour licensing

    Absolutely nothing wrong with Bournemouth, I plan to retire there myself...;)

    I think you've hit on a major point here.

    It's pretty unlikely that many pubs etc that apply for this are going to want to be open 24hrs a day everyday of the year.

    Most likely for particular occasions like New Year or maybe an extension of a few hours etc on someones bathday etc.:H

    it will only help things i think

    i hate going out on the drink getting screamed at at 20 to 11 and then finishing off your drink, only to go through town or try and find a lock in
    People will come and go as they please so will reduce binge drinking, youl go home when youve had enough or when the bar staff tell you you have
    Going for a drink will be a lot more sociable, not just trying to get as much down your kneck as you can when you realize youve only got an hour and a half til closing time
    I know you shouldnt drink to get drunk, but why drink alchohol if you dont want to get drunk???? its the whole point?
