near where i lived, there is a beutifull forest... or, the whole thing used to be a huuuge beutifull forest, before there where built houses and roads, now its just som scattered spots of forest sourounded by civilization... but no, they couldnt leave it at that, they had to build a huge 18 holes golf field, cutting down trees to make way for roads and big orderly neat grass fields... its horrible ! and that golf field is built around 2 small lakes, mabye 100-200 meters across in size (just so you get the picture)... well now most of the fish is no more... i havent gotten a pike for a long time, the little carp fishes of various sorts used to grow to a maximum of 1 kilo... now ur lucky if you see one the size of your fist... all that is left are stunted plant eating fish, and no carnivors... which means that the fish doesnt get big, because there are so many of the small ones... in our country its called thousandbrother lakes, and its a growing problem in lowland lakes all over... i have a feeling that the the golf field and the amount of artificial fertilizer they use... that thing upsett the whole natural ballance, damn them...

You think that's bad? Look at the tuna. It's a twelve hundred pound fish, and all these asian fucks are fishing them out of the ocean. Now, tuna are at best, two, three hundred pounds. They're basiclly infants.

I hate the eutrophication bit, what a load of crap. They ought to do something, like no fertelizer near natural bodies of water, or near cannals that lead to bodies of water. Fertelizer just fucks everything up.

yeah, thats pretty bad... but would it be any different of the tuna was living on the coast of america, or europe ? think not... the fact that they are asian has nothing to do with anything, in fact, the same thing is happening up here in cold norway, of course at a smaller scale, but its the same. and oil the oil industry, the cutting down of the rainforest...

Have you been to asia, it's some bad bad shit. They don't have regulations like in europe or america, so they just fish everything out of the sea. Like whales. The japanese are only supposed to hunt whales for scientific purposes, but they get them all the time. My dad goes over there on buisness trips, and he says it's totally disgusting. Like you look up in the sky and you can even see the sun because of all the smog. It's sad. But yeah, westerners would probably fish just as much if we could. Probably more.

The smaller sizes in fishes is happening everywhere, because when people fish, they take the big ones and throw the small ones back in, making fish species actually evolve to be smaller and smaller.
