It's my new favorite beer. It leaves an after taste of blueberries! Yum, yum yum! At a bar in Detroit, they have it on tap. I think I like it better that way than in a bottle...
Damn good song too; Blu-u-ue Moon (blue moon, blue moon) I saw you standing alone (blue moon blue moon) Without a dream in my heart without a love of myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnn!!! (bomp bomp a bomp a dang a dang dang)
It's a pretty average wheat beer/witbier. It's nothing special (to me, anyway), but it's not bad either. I used to like Blue Moon a lot when I was first cutting my teeth on craft beers a few years back. Since then I have had many wheat beers that are far superior to this. Also, did you know that this beer is made by the makers of Coors? Pretty surprising considering it tastes a lot better than anything else baring the "Coors" label. If you want a beer like Blue Moon, but better, try Hoegaarden. It costs about $9-10 a six pack, but it's imported from Belgium. It's considered to be the original wheat beer/witbier.
blue moon is okay. ill drink it... its better then coors or something for sure but it's a bit too light and fruity and white for me. it's decent though, but if i ever order one of them, i only drink one and then switch to something else.
Two nights ago, I decided to try a new beer...this time...I tried a porter. Edmund Fitzgerald Porter to be exact. Was a dark beer...but pretty smooth. Was very happy with my choice!
