Right at this moment my 13 year old is playing chess with his younger sister, she will be 8 yrs old next week.
When my oldest son was in first grade, his favorite games was stratego & risk even tho according to the game box he was to young to play.

Do you play so-called "baby/kid" games with your children or do you teach them to play games you like that were made for older players?

What bothers me is the age limit being from "5-95". I mean, shit, there's gotta be some old lady out there that was deeply hurt by that.

hungry hippos was the best game ever. it was perfect for my family..... there were 4 of us boys for the longest time, then my youngest brother came along quite a bit after...... but for 4 of us around the same age, it was the perfect game. I think my mom sold it at a garage sale or something...... it was probably beaten all to hell, but I always missed that game

I knew how to play chess when i was 6 or 7. cant say i was the best player, since my only opponents were the other kids in my daycare.

I never really did like candyland or chutes n ladders. I liked puzzles and monopoly and checkers/chess and uno and HHH and shit like that

candy land used to make me really mad. like when i would get sent down to some of those scary whatevers on the bottom. i had a lot of crumpled up cards.

like that old maid game. the old maid was all crumpled up cause i threw a fit when i was like five and had the maid in my hand. haha.

I have a grandson due in Sept 2005.
There are a couple more pics of them in my gallery.

With just my own kids & grandkids....I feel like I live in a daycare.

Thats awesome, congrats on your new grandson!

I Think thats so cool your grandkids have an aunt around their age :)

when I was in 1st grade my first nephew was born, its cool cause he's 14 and I'm 21 we're not that far apart in age so we have a lot in common, movies, music stuff like that, anyway it seems I can relate to him better then alot of the older adults in the family sense it wasn't that long ago I was 14.

A few weeks ago I bought trouble, sorry, and operation. Good drunk games to play. I love candyland and hungry-hippos though.
