Congratulations! I'm 7 weeks PG myself and I've got two girls I run after all day. I just started reading _Ina May's Guide to Childbirth_. It's a really awesome read so far and my hub's actually going to read it.

One things I'd suggest to ward off any sikies is to eat and drink as soon as your body tells you to. Drink PLENTY of water and try to steer clear of processed, unwhole foods.

    Again, congrats :)

dont have it. how old are you and herb again??? live your life before you devote it and give it up for anothers.. shit at 21 you still probably have some unbalanced hormones raging, your still just a kid yourself. my advice; do a fast and seek guidance about the whole thing. and i dont think you need to tell honey to eat whole foods though that was good advice, lol...

I'm sorry, I doubt that this is what she was looking for, I think your reply was rude.

i watched all of those labor documentories like a baby story on TLC and birth day on Discovery Health channel,. and it really got me prepared for childbirth and the unexpected. Also, it helped me to not be too nervous when i went to the hospital. Also, water and saltine crackers and anti-nausea medicine (approved by pharmacist for pregnant women) really help morning sickness. I had it really bad and it got me through. Walking for 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week and water aerobics is what my midwife recommended for me to stay in shape, and it helps prevent swelling. good luck, motherhood is great. enjoy sleeping while you still can!!!!!!!!

Aww, what a cute picture, I have read in kundalini books that there are other ways to fight morning sickness, but I don't own those books so I don't remember. I also read that you should walk an hour a day.

Congrats! I'm newly pregnant too. Since this is my first, I don't have alot of advice except for what I read in books. So far...doing prenatal yoga is helping to keep me calm. I also try to take walks or go swimming whenever I can because I also heard this was the best exercise for pregnant woman. I never used to sleep alot either but lately I've been more tired and I recommend getting more sleep for you as well...but then again, listen to your body. Eat alot and eat a variety of foods (get your nutrients). I haven't got morning sickness yet so I don't know what to tell ya there! If I don't have it by 5 weeks does that mean I won't get it? My best friend just had a baby and she never got morning sickness! I heard some women are just lucky!

I wasn't sick with #1 but with #2 and so far with this PG my stomach is in knots :( It just started to hit me a few days ago and I think I'm right at about 8 weeks. Erin is right about the morning sickness remedy though.

If your interested in a natural hospita,l or home childbirth, you may not want to watch the dramatic shows on tv about labor and delivery, they may give you a false sence of what to expect. I reccomend reading all the "natural childbirth" books you can get your hands on.

get really comfortable shoes that are a half size or a size too big, stretch your back muscles everyday, do some light workout for your stomach muscles, ALWAYS ask for help when you 8 months and further, if a part of your body hurts ask your bf to massage it, use lots and lots of palmers cocoa butter on your stomach, sleep as much as you can, do lots and lots of swimming its good for you and you baby, spend at least an hour every day talking or reading to your baby, near the end of your pregnancy go for short walks like 2 or three times a day it helps put the baby in position, a few weeks before the baby is born get everything ready (wash all the clothes, set the crib up, sanitize everything in the house.), sign up for lamaze classes when you are about 7months pregnant so that when you do go into labor lamaze breathing will come to you like its second nature

These are all things that i regret not doing. throughout my entire pregnancy i was sad, lonely, depressed.
