I was wondering who else here was into Bob Dylan?

I think he is one of the greatest poets ever, and he turns those poems into songs amazingly. Lyrically he is geniuos, my favourites being "Tangled Up in Blue", "Visions of Johanna", "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands", "Masters of War" and of course "Mr. Tambourine Man".

I have many albums and have yet to come accross a bad peice of work from him.

Anyone else here into Dylan, and if so, what are your favourite songs/albums?

    Cheers,

    boothy

Bob Dylan is my all time favorite. I've never heard anyone who has a way with words like he does. I've got every album he's ever made and the bootleg versions of several. My favorite Dylan albums are Blonde on Blonde, Blood on the Tracks, Time Out of Mind and many others. I've seen him in concert four times.

Dylan's been my fav since I started listening to music. if you want to know some awesome albums from after the 60's check out Desire, Blood On The Tracks, The Basement Tapes, Oh Mercy, Love And Theft, Time Out Of Mind, and get the MTV Unplugged album, it's amazing.
ok I'll rattle off a few of my fav tunes for ya:
let me die in my footsteps
    who killed davey moore?
    when the ship comes in
    one too many mornings
    no more auction block
    moonshiner
    I'll keep it with mine
    when I paint my masterpiece
    you ain't goin' nowhere
    is your love in vain?
    no time to think
only a pawn in their game
    where teardrops fall
man in the long black coat
    shooting star
    summer days
    po' boy
    mississippi
    bye and bye
    honest with me
    moonlight

and Time Out Of Mind is the greatest thing Dylan has done since Blood On The Tracks...every song is amazing! GIT IT!

(been listening to dylan all day )

and yeah I love all the like a rolling stones and blowin' in the winds and desolation rows but what's the point anymore? everyone knows those songs you know? so this is a list of some of my fav songs that not too many people talk about. there's more to Dylan than the same 6 albums all the time...but something like Infidels or Street Legal is maybe gonna take a few listens but they're not much less great than H61, BOB, and all the hyped ones.

I love Mr Dylan, and I've got three different versions of "Mr Tambourine Man" :)

Dylan, Manfred Mann, and the Byrds.

If the lyrics of the chorus go 'Masters of War, torment every soul, rape every whore that carries the cross' it might be an Amon Amarth cover...

Dylan can't be beat. I bet I listen to him more than any other artist.

Love & Theft is excellent....I think I'll listen to it now!

I've seen him 3 times....four maybe? (Since we're keeping count)
