I can't say I've met a pedophile to my knowledge. But I can definetely say that having cops around has never made me safer. The only time I've been really shitkicked, it was by cops. The only time I've been peppersprayed, it was pigs. The only people who've illegally held me in a cell for hours and hours was... well you can guess.
When I got beat up? Pushed a cop off my friend after he'd slammed his head into the roof of his car (the friend wound up getting 14 stitches). You'll never be more pissed off than getting kicked in the face while you're fucking handcuffed. I was peppersprayed when I was trying to break up a fight in the basement of this party and the cops came in. The third one I was a DD and a cop bumped into me and I told him to fuck off.
