Computerized van, with dead Mp3'z

has anyone ever installed a computer in a car?

I was going to install a viz micro chipset and use the new flat screens in my van, my computer is dieing and it is in the way when camping, but well worth the 15 years of dead bootlegs I have in mp3 format?

I tried posting in my.is and they all jumped me and called me names. I just want to know if anyone else has tried this?

I never tried it, but I recently read a Slashdot article about somebody doing this. Sounds cool.
