prolly will be homeless for a few weeks/months comin up here, again. usually i hit the road whenever this happend. but i think im just gonna go out in the woods this time, atleast for a while- and hang out around town some. i recently turned vegetarian, trying it out...the big problem is my metabolism is REALLY fast- i lost weight like crazy if i dont eat like crazy. so whats the best cheapest way to maintain weight? what foods? I dont have much money, please keep that in mind.

the best way to stay healthy in my opinion is to listen to your body,, rapid weight loss is never healthy..

listen to your body with a healthy frame of mind and you will be..

your not getting enough calories...you need to include more high calorie foods like whole nuts, seeds, nutbutters(peanut butter) and oils...

I agree with the above two posters. First, try the higher-calorie food. If that ain't workin' out, well, maybe on your budget and lifestyle, vegetarianism isn't right for you. Be opprotunistic, take what you get. Buddhist monks eat the meat they are given, because it was given to them. Vegetarian or not, it's a shame to turn down food, and a crime to throw out a gift.
