Find the source and replace with a male end and plug into a outlet with a timer.

Thats not the point, the point is to get it on a timer to avoid further problems while in flower,as to many disruptions will cause problems, this I promise.

I think I should get a floruscent tube set( of 2 is 3,000 lumens), and plug it into the wall and put a timer on that. I jus gotta get some cash together first.

i dont use a timer,i just put them on a cycle wen i know i,m gonna be around like 7-7 or something like that, timers are recomended, but it just means more cost,13 mins will not be noticed by your plants its only when the light cycle is interupted that problems may arise or if the grow area is not lightproof

    WEEDMAN THIS IS SERIOUS.
you need to get the ballast out of the ceiling, and put a tail on it (male end- gounded)
you can start fires %$ckin around.
Plug a timer into the wall- and the male end into the timer. We are talkin 15 bucks at the most to make you fire safe.
And with your light schedule off like it is now- you'll see hermies within a week's time anyways.
you dont want to play with hermies- it's taken me 30 years to learn the ropes there.
    Dont go there,trust me.

,no way one day of 13 mins extra light is gonna produce hermies, only if the dark period is interupted during the 12 hrs, turning your light on or off 13 mins earlier, will not produce hermies i guarantee it,i do agree with you on the fire risk tho not having your ballast set up correctly out of the grow area is asking for trouble ,ive also got smoke detectors in the grow room for added safety

One time may not but without a timer and re-occuring fuck ups will, you cannot keep dispupting the total time without negitive effects.

On my timer, it has 2 buttons, Time and Mode, Time is obviosly the number of hours and mode is on or off(lamp), but I push time as many times as it takes to get to 12, wait a minute then push mode to turn it on of off, now if I change the time # to 12, then mode off(at 8:55) then it will turn the light on in 12 hours, and off in another 12 hours constantly right? I think I have this figured out now but I jus wanna make sure.

I guess you gotta play with it- my timers are all intermatic/dial type timers...Even the big one- it can push 4000 watts no problem though.
