My best friend played this band for me a long time ago and I fell in love, I was wondering if anybody else out there is a fan?

I think they have simple lyrics, and get a lot more credit than they deserve. I dont understand when kids say oh my god they are sooo good, but what makes them so great is what I always wonder. I do not find anything special about them. There is nothing that sets them apart from other bands. However, I thing OAR makes songs that are fun to sing while drunk ( which is fun! ;) ) I personally prefer music with more substance... And something else I really really hate about OAR is their "scene", of course that does not include every fan, but I hate the whole " oh let's go to an OAR show! I will bring my abercrombie visor and my american eaglenecklace and we will be so fucking cool!" There are so many kids like that at my college. But, like I said before, the songs of OAR IMO are great when the mood is real relaxed, and you want to sing in all ya drunken glory.

I hope this didn't offend you, malloryann, just giving you my thoughts. :)

    Peace, Lex

i hate oar they suck, there is nothing special about them at all, their songs just are plain bad and they really arent that talented as musicians, i dont see why so many people like them.
