    I love the pictures. I just returned, less than a week ago, from two months in Florence. I'm not exactly sure when you were there, but very recently, the hand of Neptune was broken off of the fountain. It was all over the news how some drunk guy had tried to climb it. I guess that's why David is in the Accademia, huh?

    Thanks! And Neoteny, about Neptune; his hand was broken off only a couple of days ago. I was in Italy at the beginning of July. But that's indeed why the real David is in the Accademia.
