well, premium at the station where I work just went over $3 a gallon. Isn't the world supposed to end now?
I'm wonderring if people are going to start hordeing gas now, in aticipation of the price going up even more.
Which, strangely enough, would put up the price. Gas doesn't exactly store well. Hope he plans on using it soon.
With some adjustments on the carb, we can convert our vehicles to run on alcohol, which we can produce from all the biodegradable waste that we throw in the landfills. Plus the vehicles exaust would just be water.
I run on alcohol, why not my car too Yea, the time is definitely now to get going on some of these ideas...I'll believe it when i see it though.
Not really, man - I can buy an alcohol carb for my bike, but I tell you, man - not only does alcohol not burn as well as gasoline, but it also produces corrosives as a result of its burning. You'd need to replace fuel tanks, fuel lines, nozzles, intake valves and god knows what else.
we spend about ,, 12 bucks a week on gas here.. that includes,, trash truck, blazer, weed eater, water pump, chain saw,,.. see we dont get out much.. Now my work truck,, its a dodge cummins turbo diesel,, we put about 1300 miles a week on it,, an it gets 15 er so miles to the gallon i paid,,err bosses card paid 2.29 last fill up.. that equates to what?? roughly 200 bucks a week.. yeah sucks to be a commuter about now dont it?? can i buy yer penis truck ya never use an cant afford?? ill give ya half what ya paid for it..
Probably, he's a rancher. What bothers me is the idea of a whole town full of tweekers and burnouts (anyplace in the Santa Cruz mountains) packing barrels of gas inside their methlabs in the middle of the redwoods (worried about the redwoods).
I was just at my station and today was my day off. The owner took his manager (cough) and someone just below me out to dinner for the first time. Went to Champps. While at the station he had me raise the prices. $2.59 for regular. I'll spare ya the rest of the prices especially the Full Serve prices, ouch. Good thing I don't drive. By the way I ordered a New York Steak platter with 2 glasses of Sam Adams.
My boss buys us lunch at least 3-4 times a week. I guess he figures we're less likely to attack the customers if we just ate.
