veg*ns dont live on salad alone.......obviously that wouldnt be healthy for anyone. this is the yr 2005......do people still really think that veggies just like spend all day grazing on greens or something?
lets see, the veg*ans all have complete, well thought out sentences. the meat eating 19 y/o who is still in public school can't write a sentence. a plant-based diet, if balanced, can be healthy and in fact, can have positive effects on a number of illnesses. So too can an omni diet, except for high blood pressure, heart disease, colon cancer, diabetes, obesity.....
Meat is probably the worst thing you could put into your body! And, no, vegetarians don't just eat salads. I'm a vegan and I almost never have a salad; I make all kind of cool recipes. And I've never felt healthier in my life. No need for corpses, embryos, or lactation on your plate.
while spending 3 days this week traveling on the greyhound bus going across the USA, I had 3 salads....1 of them was the new fruit & walnut salad from McDonald's ( some of you may know that McDonald's is the fave place for greyhound driver's to stop at). Maybe it was a strange coincidence but 1 guy on the bus who filled up on big macs & bags of cookies & super-sized sodas also spent alot of time in the bathroom...either vomiting or with a major case of diarrhea.
fatty red meat? sure its not great. fish/chicken however are rather good for you. And lets not pretend that all vegetarian foods are just great for the body. How many are filled with chemicals and other nasty shit?
listen, the more our society disregards meat as a food, the more compassion will grow in the hearts which will lead to peace in the world. we are more at war now than ever before, constantly and killing , any way you look at it is a violent act. which equals more violence. for every action there is a reaction
meat is also pumped full of hormones and crap...... and fish straight from the ocean is not as healthy as it used to be....the waters are so polluted and the fish soak up that pollution and thats what you end up eating.
