Bright red faux fur coat???

I have some BRIGHT red faux fur, and I wanted to make it into this coat:




However, my mom and my brother both think I'm absolutly inevitably insane. Think I should make it anyways?

 

i have a smurf blue fake gur coat with white fur trim, think santa but in blue =)
i love it and it is so warm

 

i couldn't find a picture, but it makes me think of jamie lee curtis in Trading Places.. i'm sure she wore a coat like the one you're describing.. although it was while she was street-walking.... i'm sure it could look really cute though, and plus it's up to you what you want to wear! i like the pic you showed

i used to have a LOOONG purple and black fur coat... my my was it lush. cost me nearly £100. However i lost a lot of confidence and got scared everytime i wore it so i gave it away to one of my gothy friends

I think a furry red coat would be awesome! You gotta be yourself.
I used to have a furry brown coat (not as daring as red, but still it was pretty outlandish for my high school ) and I just loved it. I wore it until it pretty much disintegrated. Sigh, I miss that coat.

i have a purple, pink, and red horizontally striped coat exactly like that.... i wear it out all the time.. i wish i could take a picture but my camera is broken... its so rad, its not even funny.

 

awww thats sad, i really love that coat!! i would have worn it, although, im known by everyone i know for wearing out there stuff and people accept it and just say "thats haley for ya" hehe i like it, and yes definatly make that coat it would be ssssooooooooooo cozy in the winter!!
