Hi all. I joined quite a long time ago but mostly lurk and try to absorb some of your wisdom for the day that I have my own children. But now I have a couple of questions for you. For June and July my cycles became a little longer then they ever were before and according to www.mycycle.com I ovulated on 8/3. My Hubby and I had unprotected sex on 7/27 and then on 8/2, 8/3, 8/4 and everyday since. On 8/4 and 8/5 I had just a little bit of blood in my underwear. Is it a remote possibility that this was implantation bleeding? I really have no other symptoms or signs but that is another question. How early do most people experience signs? I know that not everybody will get symptoms at all. I have a pregnancy test at home but I don't want to waste it if it is just too early to tell. Those little buggers are expensive. Oh and I'm not expecting my period till 8/17 according to my last 2 cycles. I would appreciate any link or book titles about TTC that anyone could provide me with. I've tried to look on-line but it just seems very overwhelming. Oh I figured I should introduce myself while I'm at this long post. I'm 29 and my hubby is about to turn 30. We have been married for almost 9 years. We are going through some tough and stressful times right now. But I'm hopeful that those will work themselves out. Thanks in advance for any help. Jinxy~
Hi Jinxy! I just found out yesterday that I was pregnant. I didn't really have any symptoms except for just a strange feeling. We had sex 2 days before ovulation and I just knew that this would be it. I wanted to wait until a week after I missed my period to take a test but I only lasted a couple days. I took one test and it was positive. I couldn't believe my eyes so a couple hours later I took another one and sure enough...positive! I didn't have any implantation bleeding but I heard this is possible but some say that it usually occurs right around the time your period is due. I know it's tough but really the best way to find out if you're pregnant is to wait until you get (or don't get) your period. Then you can take a test and know for sure. A website that I visit frequently is www.babycenter.com They have some good information. Good luck!
Oh wait, I take it back...I did have some symptoms that I forgot to mention. They were like PMS symptons but worse...especially my boobs. Usually they get a little tender but this time I wouldn't let my husband touch them, they hurt so bad....especially the nipples. That's also how I sort of knew even before I missed my period.
