Hi. I was just wondering if you couldgive me tips to make my voice more charismic. When I sing I fidn that my voice is dull and isnt interesting and ive tried to make it more lively but I cant quite seem to get it to be right. I know that practice makes perfect but if i had some tips I know I would be practicing the right kind of stuff I need for my problem. Any help wuld be nicely appreciated.
Hey best tip i can give man, just don't sing but SING!!! What i mean by this is find yourself feeling really emotional, and then just sing man. Singing is suppose is the one thing that reveals what really is down deep inside. People have many different ways of singing, some like to scat, some like to scream, some like to just go wild, careful not to sing too hard and strain your vocal chords though. You also have to get yourself into the mood of singing, weither it be playing a sick guitar riff really loud and gettin into a tight jam with friends, or pretending to be living a nightmare, or quitely mediate. But once you find it deep inside that wild crazy feeling let it go and just sing man, get into, let it all out, and SING man!! Trust me, professional singers sound no where as good as people who just sing with soul!!
That was good advice you got but if you found it abit vague try this: Use a wider range of frequencies in your voice - dip down to lower frequencies momentarily, that sort of thing. Good luck Sebbi
Try a bit of vibrato or add style to the way you sing. Make your your voice uniquly yours. I'm not even sure if Uniqly is a word. Always-- Jo
stop singing monotonious. its actually easier than it sounds. i used to have the same problem, and then one day i said "well i need to start using more emotion" ... and now i'm a damn good singer that can grab the attention of everyone in the vicinity...in a good way.
be a method actor just with singing, take a moment in your life where you felt the emotion the song conveys now feel that moment again and amplify it and sing from your belly and make sure to breathe I think that's a good description....
