few more bags

just a couple more pics of some of the bags I've been doing.

 

I love them do you make the actual bags? or do you buy them and paint onto them?What paints do you use? I used acrylic on one of my bags and that worked quite well however on my trousers half of the pattern washed off.

 

I can't sew very well, so if I sewed the bags myself they would never get done. I bought them from a wholesale company in bulk. I use fabric paint for the actual image, and then I seal the inside of the bag as well with a coat of white fabric paint.

thanks guys. I always wonder if the bags fit into the craft section or the art section... but the line there is sometimes fuzzy.

I did all the zodiac signs... from capricorn to sagitarius. There are pics of all of them on my site.

here's a thought
i don't know if you are familiar with chakras or not but painting chakras would be a really cool idea for your scarves
instead of wearing them, one could hang them in their alter space or meditate near them. a way to balance and focus. here's a good link with the designs
