How do the Amsterdam coffeshops go with people outside the normal youth age range?

Eh.. come again? I'm not quite sure what you mean. Coffeeshops have an 18+ policy and although some don't check on ID's, you really should respect the laws here, because a shop can be closed down or get into big trouble if a minor is in there.

LOL.. they don't have a maximum age ;) Feel free to go in anywhere..

I took my mom (55+) to my favourite coffeeshop once because they have the best homemade soup there.. was perfectly fine.. no worries! Even if you are a suit & tie.. they won't throw you out or anything.. the coffeeshop scene is very laidback and honestly, most are to toked to care anyway ;)

i've been there several times - was mostly joking with the ?; so many asked about minimum ages. I lost my coffeshop virginity at the Bluebird - space cake - wandered delightfully lost for hours discovering Amsterdam

at home with friends ;) My favorite coffeeshop is in Nijmegen (east side of the country).. ' de kronkel'.. but I don't really like to smoke in a coffeeshop, I get paranoid easily.. I like the vibe at Easy Times though.. reggae oriented place near Leidse Plein.. little dancefloor as well, plus they sell booze, which is convenient if you're in the company of non-smokers :)
