Ah, the Boutiful Harvest of August

I'm sitting here eating my favorite summer treat -- corn on the cob. Drizzled in soya butter and sprinkled with salt and pepper. Yummy yummy yummy.

im munching on a huuge cucumber i grew right now actually. so good, really big but no where near having the seeds developed and its so juicy, so much better than store bought : )

 

ah, all the fresh, fresh veggies and fruit - watermelon, nectarines...kebabs made form veggies and tofu, drizzled with lime, white wine and chilli marinade,

ah, i miss summer so much....it doesn't start till december here...

it's supposed to snow here this weekend...summer is so far away....

 

Definitely the fresh fruit, such as strawberries, my absolute favorite, though I love almost all of them. I agree though, corn is a wonderful summer food.. so yummy! heh, now I'm making myself hungry.. grrr!

 

I'm seriously addicted to watermelon.... I think about it all the time! hehe

if I could just that for the rest of my life, I think I would

I like teriyaki or jerk tofu.
Watermelon never goes wrong.
And Tofutti brand anything!!!
Chai tea (even in the summer, yeah)

mmmmm i would have to say fresh cucumbers right out of my garden, with some vinegar and salt, yes vineger, i love it like that, and of course i love it plain with salt, yumyumyum, and of course fresh cantalope!! OOOOO now i want a cucumber
