Theres a lot of drugs more dangerous than pot, doesn't mean it will change the focus of attention from pot any time soon? Lets talk about a few of them, Meth is rampant in the heartland of the states from what I hear, Beer is legal and found everywhere and way more dangerous than smoking pot, cocaine gets funnelled courtesy of the CIA, and Opium has been thriving in Afghanistan ever since we chased all dem t'rrists out... yet pot is still headlining the war on drugs.

Yeah I was watching a documentry on meth last night and the doctor who was the supposable specialist on the subject said that many of the meth addicts he's worked with started as marijauna users and then got bored with pot. He said because pot makes you lethargic and tired where as meth gives you motivation. I however have been smoking for 6 years and have never had a desire to try it. It's a sketch drug. And thats more negative publicity for herb.

at any rate, I'd do meth if it was as cheap and lasted me as long as weed does. but then id get addicted and want more and more

yeah, this meth shit is getting really crazy. I read this article on norml about like 300 mom and pop meth makers recently caught. I think its mostly a southern drug, because i havent seen or heard of it here in mass.

Like I said, I heard there was a lot of Meth in the central US. Anyway, Massachusetts has the most pot smokers in the country or something... who needs meth?

Meth labs are everywheres, mostly in far out suburbs, and pot will continue to lead the anti-drug protesting because its still the most used, and the gov'ts stand on pot, is that it is an illegal drug just like the other ones.

 

also perhaps because of teh very fact that its more used and IS much harmless compared to what they talk about, theyve got to put so much more emphasis on it to ensure its not casualised

 

Meth is ok. It will get you really spun really fast if you do a lot of glass. Most people around here do it constantly

My uncle sold almost all of his stuff, and stole some stuff from my grandma and sold it just to get more meth, and you're saying "meth is ok"? You're fucking stupid.

 

I've known people who've done meth and it made them wacko.They explained it as though they were living in a dream. And once they got of it they became extremly moody and just mean. Although they had been using very heavily for 2 months or so. I've thought about it and it may be something I'd try once just to get an idea of what its like, but I wouldn't allow myself to get involved with addicts so I would know how to get it when ever I wanted it. I think Meth is mainly found in the Mid west to Western states so far. Especially in Northwest, but I hear its all over Texas too. So its pretty much everywhere. Now out hear in California your not allowed to buy more than 1 kind on medicine from a drug store (I forget what ones they are) because they contain the ingredients used for meth. Is it like that any where else? Has anyone seen that movie Spun? I guess that shows a pretty good idea of what its like. Or maybe I'm wrong. I wouldn't know I haven't tried it.

 

Every meth head I know is a loser, a major-league big-time loser.
Most people avoid meth heads like the plague.
Every meth head I know would steal their own gramma's social security check to get more meth.
A person I know went from more or less normal to a dim bulb due to meth. It like rotted his brain. Before, he had a nice apt., a nice job and a fiance and nice things; now he's homeless. None of his former friends and family want anything to do with him. If he comes to my house I won't let him in.
There is no how no way that I'd ever try that shit.

 

i saw that thing on cnbc or msnbc or whichever it was about the "war on meth". it was so stupid. there was this "expert" saying that meth users start out smoking marijuana but switch to meth because they dont feel the effects anymore. all i could think was what the fuck?! what a typical government lapdog, bringing up bud in a program about a highly addictive drug that destroys people.

It defiently can. Have you ever seen someone comming down from a 3 to 5 day meth binge?? Its extremely violent. The only kids I see starting fights at raves are kids who are either drunk or comming down from a lot of blow or meth. Thats why all that shady shit goes on so early in the morning. I must say the stories I hear sound insane and fun, but I look at these kids and I would NEVER try it. It ruins lives, relationships, jobs, friendships, and it is it's own anti-drug.
