Am I weird with airplanes?

When I´m outside and I see and/or hear an airplane I always say in my mind "Hope you have a nice flight but don´t do bad things, ok?!" and I get that strong feeling, that I wanna fly away, somewhere summerly and with palm trees and stuff.... but when I´m somewhere inside and I hear the sound of an airplane, I get totally scared. I can´t stand that in that moment. That´s all weird, huh??
Does someone else do that??

its probly cuz when your outside you can see that it isnt flying right into the building you are in........ i took a plane to florida and once i got on it i wasnt as scared as i was sitting in the air port...... it was my first trip in a plane, the scariest are those tiny carrier planes that take you from a small airport to the big one.............

If you take the plane and everything is fine - then, fine!

If it crashes - you'll surely die in an atrocious way and there's nothing you can do about it. You don't often hear about airplane survivors - do you?
