A full moon will be present on August 19. I was wondering a few things, though.. as everyone knows the full moon brings out different sides in people, or so they say. I once heard that the it has something to do with the moon and the tides, and that when a full moon is present, it pulls on the water in your brain, triggering something which make people act strangely..any knowledge on this? Also, I was curious as to what it meant when your moon sign is present in the moon that night. i.e. the 'gemini' moon is present in the moon, and if your moon sign is gemini.. what does that mean? I see dreams like about week before full moon and then week after it.. and meantime sometimes too.. ok.. it is like.. in full moon period I see more dreams to be honest.. then I sleep restless, and I used to be moonwalker as I was younger..
It would be easier to look at your chart and then see what house the full moon falls into. That doesn't help when it comes to Full & New Moons, though. Like all things transit, square, oppositions, conjunctions, etc. will have an overbearing affect.
Actually I don't know why Im moonwalking and talking in my sleep and so on.. I just noticed from the calendar that the timing is just like this.. To be honest I'm not really into astrology, and I don't know much of it..
My natal chart has Gemini in the 10th house, so when the Moon goes into Gemini I am usually thinking of getting work, or work related. I am just more sensitive to work related issues. Since the 4th is opposite my 10th, besides worrying about work, it also involves my home life. Since an opposition is bad, it tends to have determintal effects. So if the chart has some really bad aspects and if the Full Moon is exactly at the opposition to my natal Sun's actual degree, minutes and seconds, then it will usually denote things like losing a job, losing a promotion to someone else, etc. By the same token, if the Sun is well aspected to other planets and houses, then the bad effects are mitigated. But just saying that one is a Sun-Gemini and it is now August, that having a Gemini Full Moon also means a conjunction... now you're on the right track. Huh? Let's say your natal Sun is in Gemini 20 degrees, 15 minutes, 32 seconds. Let's now say that "today's" FULL MOON is at 20 degrees Gemini 15 minutes, 32 seconds. The Full Moon (an opposition) would be a conjunction to your natal Sun. In this instance usually you have something finished, something comes into fruition. I can always tell a full moon..just a restless feeling I get and I can sense it in other people too. There is a certian strangeness to communication around that time. Its very distict to me
Where you get a restless feeling I get a relaxing feeling. But if you could document the certain days things happen and which you become aware of, like always wanting to plant things, or have certain foods, or visit or call the family, or get horney, or worry about bills when it isn't the end of the month, etc., it'll help you to verify the accuracy of a natal chart and to dispel discrepencies in the house system employed. I usually tell the guys to go clubbing the weekend immediately preceding a Full Moon. So if the Full Moon falls on a Wednesday the best time to go clubbing is the Frida and Saturday previous. But I always tell people to make sure that there will be a full moon when they are on vacation. So if you are planning to go away for two weeks, make sure that you're there before the full moon and after the full moon.
