ok don't know where else to put this. I'm currently doing some job hunting and there is this job I really want,that I think I would do good at as I have exerpience in that field (though not alot).So I called last Saturday in the evening twice,once earlier in the evening then later with no answer,then I called yesterday same method (yeah I know probably shouldn't have:&) So I decide to call this morning instead of wait till evening and finally a man answers and tells me to call tonight when his wife is at home around 5:30pm I call like five minutes before 6pm with no answer. My questions are am I calling too much ? Should I have left a message on the answering machine? (I don't care for answering machines)
You should leave a message on the answering machine. I hate them too, but sometimes they're neccesary
Just keep buggin them. They'll get the idea you really want the job. And if that doesnt suit them, theres other jobs out there
hes right if they see you really want the job... and yea, answering machines are good. calling a lot is bad, when someone keeps calling me and doesnt leave a message i tend to hit them the next time i see them, with my phone antenna... in their femur it really hurts.
Go there in person and present yourself. This will make the most powerfull impact. Good Luck. Please tell us how you did !

people who call constantly and don't leave messeges on machines are annoying. How else are they going to know you called?
especially nowadays when it records the number of the person who called and yah know who the fjorkhead is who kept calling
