Several times in my life I have had dreams where I was aware that it was a dream. It has never been a choice, though. I wonder about the books that claim you can choose to be conscious and in control while dreaming. Have any of you tried these techniques, and with what results? Steve www.TheMeditationSite.com
I have those types of dreams all the time. I'm aware it's a dream, and sometimes I have free will to an extent, but most of the time not. When I do have free will in a dream, it's usually a dream where I'm being attacked in some way, and I defend myself. Which is somewhat of a relief, because I've had my ass kicked in many dreams and just stood there and did nothing. It's about time I fought back.
yes they work!I have 2 during the times When I was really deadicated to asking myself if I was dreaming every hour.
My freind is going to write a book about lucid dreaming. The story behind it is like, what if the government has cameras set up in our brains so when we dream, they can watch what we see, but, when one woman has a lucid dream, she finds out about what they're doing.
It's proven to work, and there have been many books about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dreaming http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Lucid_dreaming I tried it once, with some success, but after a few days I quit because I was too busy.
