two weeks ago i came home at 12am after hanging with my friends. I have been smoking every day since 3 1/2 months and that night I smoked a bowl 20 minutes before i went home. When i got home I came in and my parents were a wake and on the couch. They gave me a drug test. which i didn't know what do at the time so i just pissed in it threw a towel. I failed it and they were pissed. I got grounded till i gained thier trust back. They never asked for my stash so i figured i would smoke it all and then be done. My parents were out a week later so I decided to finish my sack. I finished it and my sister came in my room and smelled it. Normally she does care because she used to do it but for some reason she got pissed and told my parents. I told them it was a joint and that was the only one. They said i couldn't go on a camping trip that i had been looking forward to all summer unless i joined a fall sport to do something after school. I joined tennis even though i have never played it. I went on the camping trip and just drank 4 or 5 beers and hung out. It was at an Indian Pow-Wow. and we got to see all the cool dancing. On the last day me and some friends went swimming in the Missouri river an i got dirt in my eyes and they got all red. I went home and my parents thought i was stoned. When i went to bed that night they woke me up at 1 in the morning and started ripping a part my room. They said if I don't give them everything they were going to send me to Boys Town which is a discipline center where you have to live in my city. So I gave them my aycrilic bong and said thats all i have. But my sister told them everything she knew i had. So they were like this is not all of it. I showed them where my stuff were and they took my 40 dollor glass pipe my glass bubbler my roller a couple bags with only stems, a scale, and I container with niacin pills. Now i cant do anything for like ever and they sent me to out-patient rehab. Im quitting till im got of highschool and now life really sucks. My dad and mom think im going to start smoking meth or crack.
Ohh... sorry to hear! Stupid paranoid parents! If parents would just be a little more open they would knów what is going on in their kids life.. my parents know I smoke, they don't like it because they think it's a bad drug or something.. they just don't trust it. But I told them that I don't smoke as much as they drink so.. hehe.. that shut'm up Anyway... imho.. it is because all the illegality and secrecy that problems are starting. If it was my kid I'd get pissed because they didn't tell me, not because of what they were doing. Granted, if it was illegal in the country I'd live in it might be more easier said than done.. but so many parents think that just forbidding things make them go away.. Hey, all the best of luck.. you're 17 so you're close to living on your own (I left home at 18) and then you can do whatever you please. Be carefull though, because depending on where you live the government might be stricter than your parents
Sorry if I offend you man, but parents who threaten to/actually do stuff like that are rather stupid. those places are for kids who have really fucked up, like they stabbed someone, or they're addicted to crack. You know, something that really fucked up there lives. You're just taking up space, man, people could actually use that rehab. It isn't your fault at all, its your fucking facist parents and there grossly inaccurate views on weed. "A place where you have to live in my city." Fuck that, man. If my parents sent me to a "Boys Town", the first thing on my mind would be excape and revenge. Fuck facist parents... I'd rather be on the run 'till I'm 18 then get locked up in some bullshit facility because my parents are fucking retarded... thats bad, they over reacted a bit by taking ur stuff, but i surpose if i found out my kids were doing it i would talk it through with them, and make sure they know the pros and cons, then at least if they are doing it they know they are safe. but baddddd go steal the stuff back i would

LOL You know that sucks they took your bowl and all that other stuff. My parents almost found my secret stash to but all they found were papers on marijuana so I got in alittle bit of trouble and had to lie to be free from punishment. Hehehe Do this buy one bag like a small bag zipper up and hide it under something like in a closet under blankets or stuffed animals if you have them. You see I put all my like kid stuff in my closet and I have my stash in like a small zip up pouch thing I found somewhere and who knows where the hell I got it from b/c certanitly I don't remember. So just do that that' what I do. Hide my stash under somewhere our parents never check. Good luck man that sucks. To bad you don't live in Jersey b/c where I got my bowl double glassed middle size it was only $20 from some indian dude and its like the best!!! Got it from a like outdoor market. I live in Omaha and the river is a little muddy but it;s not bad upstream before it hits all the cities then i wouldn't think of swimming in it. Sorry i havn't replied hard to get to my computer with out being yelled at. thanks guys
