It wouldnt be fitting if all was as expected though:)

I dont have any particularly bad feelings about the new planet...tis actually quite comforting to know our solar systems so big, somehow.

Whoever said about linda goodman, thats probably where my mum got the Vulcan idea-shes got all her books:p theyre pretty good, actually.

To james q, There is nooooo way that Madonna could be the modern equivalant of Katherine Hepburn... Even her song, "Like a Virgin" was so remote from anything actually virginal... We don't have a modern archetype for the virgin goddess... not that I've seen anyway... And too many people think of the Age of Aquarius as this future Golden Age but that's not taking into account the other side. The age of Pisces, which we're currently in, was one of great spiritual enlightenment and grand ideals but we saw the backlash of that in persecution and resistance. I predict that we'll be taken to the brink of extinction before we're forced to be concerned with the welfare of our planet and ourselves. It makes sense since Uranus likes to shake things up and poke people when they're not looking. But it won't come as this sudden realization, that's too easy. Aquarius is a tricky little bastard...

sorry, i missed ur q. yes, i think we are talking about planet x, b/c that's the mystery 10th planet that astrologers have been talking about for a long time. sedna is something else. it was discovered last year and is about the same size as pluto, so in fact this newest discovery might actually be the 11th planet if u count sedna as a planet.

u may well be right. i think that the change will be dramatic, like everything uranian it will come out of the blue unexpectedly. maybe peak oil will be the trigger. suddenly the oil runs out and we're left without an industrialised-capitalist society anymore. and that's not wishful thinking b/c an outcome like that would be hideous. we'd have no chance to adjust: just the way dear old uranus likes it.

That very well could be. We'll be forced to look at alternatives we've so long ignored. I really don't think America will be the superpower it used to be, like Russia. China will most likely be the next superpower. They can be hated and feared and we'll be the little loudmouth in detention. Or we'll be Little China. Either way, this era we live in will be over relatively soon. Uranus is all about breaking the old standards and crushing the status quo, which is good but very, very painful. We could very well have another civil war on our hands by the end of it. But what will be left will strive for a better, more united and progressive life. Like Einstein said, relatively, There is no action without an equal reaction... or something like that but I'm sure you get what I'm saying...

I thought a majority already agreed that Pluto wasn't a true planet. Guess it all balances itself out.
Also, there have been some books over the years that believed there were two other adtrology signs. Unfortunately, those particular books of mine were "borrowed" without permission. Those books I had were published over thrity years ago too by the way.

Briefly off topic...think of it as a commercial or something, lol!
The original liberated woman: Dorothy Parker's pointed verbal wit and satire
highlighted a new freedom for middle class women. She was fired from Vanity Fair
Magazine - she said for "having opinions" -- and wrote screenplays, poems
    (often satiric) and fiction.
Here are some selected quotes from Dorothy Parker (1893-1967) Some you may recognize.
(Remember this was a very risque attitude/behavior from a woman, especially one so well known back then)

Ducking for apples - change one letter and it's the story of my life.

If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.

I require three things in a man: he must be handsome, ruthless, and stupid.

The two most beautiful words in the English language are 'cheque enclosed.'

The only 'ism' Hollywood believes in is plagiarism.

You can't teach an old dogma new tricks.

    Women and elephants never forget.

Men seldom make passes at girls who wear glasses.

Four be the things I'd have been better without:
    Love, curiosity, freckles and doubt.

If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.

The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.

The best way to keep children home is to make the home atmosphere pleasant
-- and let the air out of the tires.

All I need is room enough to lay a hat and a few friends.

Heterosexuality is not normal, it's just common.

Scratch a lover, and find a foe.

Men don't like nobility in woman. Not any men. I suppose it is because the men like to have
the copyrights on nobility -- if there is going to be anything like that in a relationship.

That woman speaks eighteen languages, and can't say No in any of them.

People are more fun than anybody.

I like to have a martini,
    Two at the very most.
After three I'm under the table,
after four I'm under my host.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think.
