hi people, about an year ago I found this web-portal about travellers who wish to stay for free on their way for a night or two at communes, farms, agricultural tourism places, etc. throughout the world and help with some work in exchange. I found that a terrific idea and I was just about to start planning my trips and picking the most suitable communes when my life took a curious turn and I had to leave and travel in another place for a while. now I've lost traces of the URL(s) and I can't find any info on the net no matter what key words I use to search. I kinda remember using hipforums as my starting point to find this portal so I thoufght you might know what I'm talking about or at least provide me with some other ideas how to seek such communities throughout the world (preferably starting from Europe cause that's where I am) thanks in advance! peace

that listing seems kind of barren. organicvolunteers.com has a lot of listings- they do ask for a $10 yearly donation, though. well worth it to help them out.
