    Upon the moonlight madness falls
the midnight sun that escapes us all.
    Tragedies of ancience speak
of presence in riddles of secret speech.
    Mesmerized in false pursuits
a life of lies has unfolded truth.
    Youth in uncouth agony
    serves to prove the memory
of everything that has to be,
    but hasn’t seen reality…
Let a scream of sinful prayer
save the season, the sea, the air
    …I prayed for the moon;
thought I should but it came too soon.
Some may say what some have said,
others just live until they are dead-
    God as my friend
    I think it’s the end
I’ve found the beginning of the life that death lent...
If dreams are seas I sail to sleep
and drown my thoughts in waters deep...
