Yea what I'm worried about is when the kids stop mixing 25 mg's with an eighth of weed for mild trip effects and smoke 50 mg's out of a base pipe... they're in for a rude awakening. Then when some kid loses it, his parents find out he ordered the bark from some vendor, and all of a sudden the rootbark is illegal...

I think so. I've done aya before. I've been doing yoga for a few weeks now, and already am becoming a much more positive person for it. I'm not sure what you mean by using DMT "as a drug." Are you saying to not use it with the intentions of a wreckless hedonist? I think that goes without saying for most psychedelics. But when I eat mushrooms I still consider myself using them as a drug, even though I am expecting something very different from it than I would most other drugs. Do you mean something different?

the fact that he refered to such as use as using 'as a drug' is linked into the very reason we have a lot of drug problems.

dont be a fool, spirituall use doesnt stop a drug from being a drug, it doesnt stop it being harmful and it doesnt stop the desire to repeat. spirituality, interest, hedonism, escapism; theyre merely the motive behind using the drug, and dont change the physiological effect of any drug. if anything perhaps they effect how one will act while under the influence, and how much enjoyment is earned (which is subjective!).

if i person ends up dislikiug their trip then theyll not repeat it, will they? if they do like it, then it doesnt matter what their motive is, it wont have an effect on how the drug treats their body.

Huasca and smoking dmt are two completely different experiences. For example, during your huasca trip, you probably still had some contact with visual reality. If you smoke DMT, and you do it right, you will be somewhere else.

What moonlight means is that it's not something to be used casually as marijuana, or for some people, doing a line of coke. If someone is going to DMT hyperspace, they need to be of a sound mind and pretty experienced in the realm of psychedelics. Complete loss of contact with visual reality- not something to be taken lightly.

its not just aimed at this parson its aimed at all teh people around here who make out that drugs should only be used for spiritual purposes, when thats just a motive. an inexperienced person using a drug for the first time is gonna beinexperienced, ragerdless of whether its spiritual or recreational

:) You respond well to many posts. I don't take drugs for any spiritual reason.. at first I learned some things about life, but then I just started using them for fun. I love having fun, I guess I'm a hedonist.

I hope you guys didn't misunderstand me from my comment about yoga. I don't subscribe to Eastern spiritualism anymore than I do any other kind of spiritualism. I do yoga because it makes me feel good and I want to stay in shape. I'm far more interested in existentialism, situationism, quantum physics, and science fiction to give you an idea of where I'm coming from.

I too am annoyed by some, and I do mean some and not all, of the spiritualists that use psychedelics. I resent in a very serious way any attempt by folks to impose any sort of dogma on psychedelics. One that's getting especially old is "Don't do chemicals man. You have to stay all natural." Fuck man. It doesn't matter if the chemical is in a powder or in a mushroom, its a chemical, and it's the chemical that gives the desired result, not the almond flavored dry fungus.

Exactly. The best is when people will be like that and not know a dam thing about the mushroom, not even the name of the active chemical in them.
