Here are some pictures of their actual stage. I've seen how the size AND shape of the pot can dramatically determine the size AND shape of the plant. At leat with me, the plants that are on tall n big pots grow big, small but WIDE pots deliver short and bushy plants! That's Interesting.

    Holy shit!

Don't let anybody tell you different- you're doing FANTASTICK.

You're looking at up to a 1/2 kilo or more of buds 3-4 months from now.

You'll want to increase the phosphours that's available to the plant now. Also, be ready with some sticks to prop the plants up with, as the look like they're going to be top heavy.

maybe you should try to stick one of the round wire tomato plant holders over {under maybe- like set the pot inside}them now while you can. that should hold her up when she buds. or at least help considerably. They do look nice, better than mine that i started around the same time, but im always hacking mine up around here.L.O.L.

I think they'll be strong enough to support their buds, the stem of the biggest plant is thicker than my thumb and almost wood-strong. That may be due to the strong winds they often have to deal with.
The big ones stand up to 4-5 feet (totally, including the bucket). The strange looking girl looks like that because i had to tie its tip and make a loop in order to avoid it being seen by someone.
The really thin one resisted a draught once i went on holidays 2 months ago. I decided to cut almost all the dead stems and leaves. Then, lots of leaves started popping out and that's the result. She is 3 feet tall and very compact.

Hey TieDye, what do u mean by hacking your plant? Are yo chopping parts of it and smokin em ? or cookin em?

I just cut a handfull of leaves and some flowers (very few and small flowers) and let them dry. Then i put them on the blender and made MJ Powder. Like 60 ml of powder (+- 10 grams?). 3 or 4 heaped spoons of green powder.

Can i use that? or my plants are not potent yet. How effective is leaf usage when the plant hasn't flowered yet? How much leaf should i use to cook or smoke? How less potent is a leaf gram than a flower gram?

yeah i smoke even the males, sometimes i'll pull a couple bottom leaves from a potential breeding male to sample taste and stone.but i even save the stems, if you get a couple pounds of stems and leaves it makes good butter.boil it in water and use butter- strain the stems &cannabis out and chill in the fridge overnight. the butter hardens on top the water . use it for cooking and it is not gritty like using straight cannabis.

but if you have some blended, it might go alright in some cooking. or even a pipe.

most other peoples leaf gives me a headache, but for some reason mine compares to decent bud. just not as long lasting of a high.

Really !??Are just 2 or 3 leafs enough to feelthe cannabis effect? So, ifi make a joint or pure leafs, will i feel something? I mean, i don't expect 5 hours of trip, but wil they cause an effect?

I fert the plants and areate (move) the soil and i noticed like 20 leaves that were yellowish or partly dead. they were the bottom ones that doesn't recieve much sun. They were easily separated from the stem.

Do kind of dead or yellowish leaves work as well as the living green leaves? what would happen if i cooked or ate or smoked the "ill-looking leaves?" do they still have their THC?

those are mainly the ones i smoke, when they first start to lose the green color, the plant is ready to shed them and you might as well smoke em before they lose all the green color. kinda inbetween green and yellow is the best time to pull them.As to yours im sure it is worth smoking, might not taste the best( leaf can be harsh) but it should give you buzz.

When you have some buds AND JUST CAN'T WAIT, this is how you sweat cure (one day in the hot sun ought to do it):

Stick the buds (or leaves) in a jar, seal it, and place it in the sun.

About every 2 - 3 hours the jar will be wet inside and the green will start to fade. Pour out the water and leave the jar open - in about 15 to 20 minutes it will be dry.

Repeat. After 8 or 9 hours of sun (2-3 times that much in cooler, wetter places) little water will be left in the plant, has reflected by the small amout of "sweat" in the jar, and most or all of the green will be gone.

One last air dry and you'll get a surprisingly smooth smoke.

Wow, so, is it better to smoke yellow leaves than green ones?
Is the clorophile what feels harsh? Cause when i cut some leaves, if i let them dry in a dark place, they conserve their green color. They even show a deeper green. Should i leave the leaves get yellow? Don't the SUN destroys the THC when the plant's cut or dead?

What i did to the leaves i told you one week ago (the ones i converted into powder) was to dry them in a small electric oven. for 5 minutes or 10.

How important is the curing and how should it be done? Gecko, what if i leave the leaves (hehe) just in a dark jar, for 2 days? is that better or worse than direct sunlight?

This is such an interesting topic !

Some THC loss occurs from sun drying. It's not ideal- just quick and adequate.

Yes, the harshness is primarily due to the chlorophyll present.

the longer it stays moist- the more of the strches and clorophill will turn to sugar, so yes the jar is good unless you let it get moldy.
No, the leaf is best picked before it turns yellow, but on the verge of turning.
Im getting sick of smokin leaf, and cannot wait to get some fully developed buds soon.

    soon buddy, soon ;)

I've haven't smoked, nor eaten any of my plant's parts, as you could guess from my kind of questions. I'm afraid of having a Test soon. At work, rumors say there may be tests comming soon. I haven't touched MJ for 7 months. Im curious. I'd like to know if my plants make any effect, but i don't want to pour some MJ powder into a friend's milk or give em cookies without telling them. they wouldn't understand me. hehehe

Afraid of tests, afraid of getting seeds...... hehe .......nah ....CAUTIOUS :p

I'm doing just that with the yellowish leaves i cut 3 days ago. They are inside a plastic bag and in a dark, cool place. They're still kindof fresh. No opportunity to dry off as thay are INSIDE the bag.

Do you know what happened with the good forums intended for MJ growers and curing and cloning and .....specialized topics? Is this the only we've got?

Do someone likes the taste of weed?

This plant seems to be a waste of time if you ask me. But who the hell asked me??? They do look nice, but 90 days is all you should need to produce a good plant. I would reccomend getting some beter seedstock for you.

Tie, Geck, Mean? How can we get this gal directed to some seedstock?
Egypt is a little out of my range. Can a medical patient send her some? Can she order from a seed bank?

    Hey Med. L.O.L.
Well for one that is breeder steve's job, not mine im just a med grower, and mainly for my head stash. She is leery of getting anything sent in from a seedbank. And im very leery of anything with a customs slip attached.
Most outdoor growers are used to the fact, your gonna need a growing season to get a harvest.

She was contemplating making her own seeds, not sure if she saved some pollen from a male or not, but if she makes her own seeds from those plants, next year they will do much better, because they will be adapted better to the climate.
If the high is good, the yield will improve with acclimatization.

Actually i was thinking that her plants look nicer than mine, the ones i started about the same time.Mine got reverted and stunted and suffocated though. And now are moms, or they are going out to pasture (meaning I have selected a new mom from A healthy cutting- so i'll let it bud naturally outside)
Im thinking she would be better off procuring foxfarm products, like ocean forest, and marine cuisine.

Im starting to believe that you will never know a strains potential, until you stick it in some ocean forest.
