i have pretty thin hair so although my sections are of a good size my locks are thin. i heard after about 6 to 10 months after the dreads are done skrinking they start to fatten up. is this just because of all hairs that dont fall out over time, or is it also because of another reason. and if so, how long does it take to notice any difference in thickness? does it take forever for them to thicken up?
umm... i think ur right on after they shrink they fatten up part and why, and it probably ltakes a long time to notice it thickining up haha.
they will start thin and get fatter because its all old hairs just staying on your head heres my exaple me when i FIRST did them, 3 months and me 6 months in and me now
yeah mine shrunk and fattened....they started as the width of my pinky..and now theyre like the width of my thumb
hey sorry about that i'll try and re-attatch the files. 1 day 2 months (pretty much all unraveled and fluffy but all very thin still) 6 months (still fluffy but taking form a bit and begining to tighten) Now! one year 6 months in, they are phatter, longer and harder
