The Sermon on the Mount and The U.S. Constitution are masterpieces of Liberalism, as are the Emancipation Proclamation, the "I Have A Dream" speach of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the New Deal and most of the big ideas that exist to steer civilization toward more intelligent solutions to our problems. The ideas communicated through each of these things may be, and should be, the fundamental bases for the traditions to which Conservatives claim to adhere. Of course, when each of these were first introduced, they were quite Liberal - non-traditional, creative and good - and they were resisted just as vigorously as ever by those who stood to profit by adhering to whatever the "Conservatives" of the day were proposing. It seems to me that any real Conservative who claims to respect and uphold traditional values would recognize the creative contribution of Liberalism throughout the span of our civilization's history. Of course, unlike Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the neo-Conservative "pundits," the liberal pantheon of Jesus, Buddha, Jefferson, Franklin, Gandhi, Lincoln, King and hopefully, someday, you, were all addressing the issues of the day with creativity, intelligence and compassion instead of trying to mine civilization's problems (ignorance, intolerance, fear, hatred, violence) for personal profit. Also, it seems to me the Neo-Conservatives have completely limited their moralism to issues of sexuality and personal wealth, at the expense of all ideas about social justice, international goodwill, and the enlightened stewardship, or rather the ongoing creation, growth and maintenance of a benevolent civilization. If this is true, then Neo-Conservatism will fail just like all of the other bad ideas of history. You will see.
Keeping in mind that antiporn is doing this deliberately as satire.... He might be a Ph.D (in nutritional ethnomedicine) - that doesn' t make him qualified to comment on mental illness. He's a herbalist. Sage prophet of the airwaves? That's a stretch. Diagnosing anything? All I've heard him do is chant the same tired mantra no matter what's presented to him.
but he is rather entertaining to listen to at times... personally i think i would rather snag a copy of one of his herbal /plant /nutrition books
I like the fact that he was friends with openly gay Allan Ginsberg, posed nude with him, and wrote of kissing black guys in his letters - and later starts cursing out "sodomites". Or that as a herbal botanist he approved of marijuana as a herbal medication and is now against "doper babies". Mind you, that shrewish harridan Dr. Laura Schleshinger (another Ph.D in something unrelated who tries to use their Ph.D status in a different arena) posed nude for pics with the married man she was shacking up with - later to become a de facto Orthodox Rabbi telling women being beaten up to stay with their men no matter what. Why is it these conservative people have skeletons in the closet?
Michael Savage is the most hilarious human being in existence. I used to think that Ann Coulter was world's most entertaining idiot. I was sadly mistaken. Ann Coulter doen't invent moronic expressions and make a career out of shouting them at people on the radio. It is kind of sad when Ann Coulter has a one up on you.

i love how before he revealed he had filed for unemployment, he was practically the head crusader for taking away welfare and food stamps. then he admitted he was a lying hypocrite.
i didnt even know this book existed til yesterday when i was checking in books at the library, my boss returned it. looks freakin idiotic to say the least.
and an interesting bit about ann coulter, when vh1 had the my coolest years as a hippie on she was on there talking, and apparently she's a deadhead. stuff like that just always surprises me....
