A few times while tripping hard on cid, I've honestly predicted the future. For example, I was sitting outside with a few friends. We were all laughing and tripping, then I was like "we should be quiet, my neighbor might be trying to sleep". and then i thought "he'll probably call my cell phone if we are". just as i though that, my cell phone vibrates. I looked at it... "Neighbor Calling". I answered, and it turned out he just wanted some bud. Still though, it was pretty crazy, considering he calls me rarely. Another time, a kid was coming to my house while I was tripping. He's one of those 'thuggish' kids. Anyways, he calls me and tells me hes outside, and i say to just come in. Like, 20 seconds after that, I imagined him walking into my other neighbors house (not the one from the previous story), mistaking it for mine. I rush outside, and sure enough, he's up the neighbors driveway about to walk to the front door. I had to call him over. He says, "thank god you did that, cause i have my piece, that would have been terribly", and sure enough he was carrying his gun with him. (like i said, hes the thuggish kind. not that i like guns.) anyways, anyone else had experiences like that?
no. but i have felt like i knew exactly what friends were thinking just by their expressions. I dont know. I am not to psychic.
well, for one, psychedelics intensify everything, so coincidences could seem like psychic phenomena. but on another level, i truly think that acid tunes your brain into levels of reality (or "vibrations" if you want to go with the psychic idea) that you are not aware of on a day to day basis. i think what happened there is that your mind was not so concerned with your ego-personal game thoughts and was able to map out the chain of events that led to those things occuring. this is the same when people have revelations about life, instead of thinking based on how it affects you and your desires, you see things as they are and the solution just kind of pops into your head. most times, we use logic and analysis to figure things out, but this way of thinking is restricted to a chain of thoughts which are only bits and pieces of a much larger situation. acid sometimes lets you see the "Big picture"
my first trip was the first time it crossed my mind that it was possible to read a mind. i dont think i read a mind then.. maybe somebody else read mine and i knew on some level that it happened but i couldnt quite put my finger on it because i wasnt trippin hard as they were. reading minds is so possible though. next time you trip just think about it and i bet it will make a lot of sense......
The first time I tripped, I had a five minute conversation with my friend without speaking. The next day he agreed with me that we in fact had the conversation, but couldn't provide many details. Neither could I, so it remains unproven. I somewhat believe in psychic phenomena, as a possible next step in human evolution, but it's so damn hard to prove. But I don't think hallucinogenic drugs bring it out. In fact, I think drugs probably hinder it. I think all acid does is cause a lot of random neural firing, but that's just my opinion. It can still be a lot of fun, don't get me wrong. But I don't make more of it than what it is.
Hum...Psychic...I find it gives me a very clear perception of the human behavior. My friends personality become kind of mapped out in my brain. So people are more predictable. I once made my girlfriend believe i was psychic, and magician, when tripping one of the first few times. LoL You can sure feel psychic on lsd, but ive personally never witnessed paranormal stuff while tripping.
