There are several: the Grand Tetons, Arches National Park, Monument Valley, Glacier National Park, and Cape Cod.

well, i'd hafta say theres nothing like soaring in the fall, all the colors below youm a hawk circling right off your wingtip.. you climb together to kiss the cloud, & suddenly the hawk will fold its wings & go into a spiral dive..you force the glider into a spin & your stomach drops..the ground below you a blur of spinning color..
but if your talking about..on the ground.. yea the grand canyon, or the badlands..or.. after the cali gathering found some incredibly beautiful spots all over that area.. modoc national forresst

There is a place, where i just left today. Its a small spring off of a larger river. It is spring fed straight from the earth. I has clay walls and floor, and is filled with little circle holes, pools, and waterfalls.
We found it once out of curiosity on a float, and was amazed with what we found.

We went there this weekend and camped, the place is magick.

BUT that place is one of the most beautiful.

Mammoth cave was nice too =)

I couldn't just choose one. Almost any uninhabited place I've been could rank right up there. Even the great plains or desert can be breathtaking.

Under a large bush at Point Reys in northern California I was camoing with a beautiful Belgian redhead and we laid out our sleeping gear under this bush and when we woke in the am there were thirty or forty hummingbirds fliting around less than two feet from our faces.....

My favourite place is in the southeastern part of the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria, where was born my father. There're a wooded hills with beautiful spring, white river and green meadows... It's quite calm and quiet place, like in a fairy tale. After three week I'll go there for few days... Oh, I start to dream for this moment :)

THe woods across the road from my house, that is paradise. There is a large creek that has carved out a small canyon, and there is a really old tree that grows on the side of one of the cliffs, and to sit under it and look down on the small canyon is just amazing.

    1) Needles district, Canyonlands National Park, UT

    2) Hol Chan Cut - barrier reef, Belize
    3) North inlet Trail, Rocky Mountain National Park, CO
    4) North Cali - South Oregon coast.

To me, the greatest beauty in nature is in the night sky. I dig a full moon or a crescent moon with Venus in the sky. I enjoy seeing a meteor streak across the dark sky, leaving a trail.

I haven't travelled to many places in my life but I will say Mt.Washington. My stepbrother and I took a two day hiking trip up there last summer and it was great. I didn't take the wimpy cog railway or auto road, I earned my way up there.

So you are moving to Vermont, thats great. I am from Vermont. When are you moving?

One of my favourites places in the nature is the beach. There are no people there on the evening, so I can sit on the sand and watch the stars...

I have been to the top of Mt Tempanogas in Utah and that was gorgeous. Also the beach at sunset is so wonderful. But above all else there is a cemetery kind of out a way from my house and it is on a hill and overlooks the country. It is the greenest place on earth and so peaceful and beautiful. It is like my very own garden of eden.
