Hey there brothers and sisters, If you are in the Atlanta area this weekend (Saturday, August 6) you should attend the Pro-Democracy March & Rally. It is a march for Voting Rights, Jobs, Justice, & Peace. On the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Voting Rights Act, the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition will hold a march and rally Atlanta, Georgia to commemorate the signing of the Act and to call attention to the threats facing minorities and the poor as key provisions of the Act come up for renewal in 2007. I still say there should be reality TV shows that cover all of this. What a great idea! Each week the show would cover another demonstration. It would be a lot more interesting than watching some people stuck on an island mozy around or the Peterson case day after day. A great idea. Therefore, the chances of it happening are practically zero. .
