Okay, the first bag that I made is not too great, I didn't really know what I was doing and I used a brown cord that SUCKS, it rips at the seams, so I needed to redo it, or rather make a new one.

Here's my new bag!!!!! I think it came out great!

I'm still learning some stuff, and I FINALLY started pinning things, it's amazing how much this helps (I rarely pin when I sew, and then wonder why everything sucks).

Here's my new iPod case. It started out pretty good, and I'm relatively happy with it. It also has the first applique I've done. I originally was supposed to look like EQ bars, but I had problems with the third peice, so it's just weird now!

Here's the old bag, showing the crappy thing... under the flap is a pretty neat pocket and also my custom made buttons. I've started turning wood at my bro-in-laws on occassion, making beads and buttons!

oh, and the new bag is made of a hunterish green and tan cord, the colors aren't real great in the pictures.

They are AWESOME! I love the them all ...are you selling any of them? The i pod case is cute...I dont think it looks weird with only two bars...just say its abstract art :) I really like the top bag...it looks very clean and linear. Are you going to topstich around the top of the opening? I think it would really set it off. Keep up the good work ! :)

I've not really thought about selling anything, but I'm definetely open for trades!

Thank you, I'm really proud of the bag. I'd not considered topstitching, but I might look into that! It would also keep the liner from wanting to roll outside of the bag! Thanks for the idea.

They all are great! I especially love the way the Ipod case is designed to open up(plus I'm jealous that you have an Ipod, tee hee).

As for pinning, it is a wonderful thing! I used to not pin, but my parents told me that I should. Nah, I was too stubborn, but I finally started to and now I can't imagine trying to sew without using em.

hehe, yeah, I sewed 2 tents as one of my first projects, and the material was REALLY slippery and thin, and I was afraid that pins would effect the waterproofness and possibly rip the nylon, so I didn't use pins, and they turned out fine, so I didn't think I'd use them for much.... but now I know, Pins are neccessary!

I like my iPod a lot, but I would never have bought one. I won it from a radio station!
