Just washed my hair for the first time since I started my dreads three weeks ago and I think I must of put too much tea tree oil in my rosemary 'tea'. The roots feel real greasy, don't look it though...
Also, I had to rip almost all the dreads apart as the roots had matted together! The frizz is attaching them all together!!
Any ideas on getting the nasty greasy feel out without having to wash them again? It takes too bloody long!

    Thanks :)

i dont kno how 2 help with the gressyness if it was me i'd wait it out. but as for the dreads eating each other every 3 or 4 day ( while ur bored/ watching tv/ reading ect) pull them appart so they will not be as many to pull apart

As for the grease your hairs just getting used to not using chemical shampoos etc. dont worry about it. And also if its really bothering you use some sea salt in the next time you wash your hair ooor lemon juice and water sprayed on.

I know how you feel, washing them is like a chore to me. When I wash mine they get all big, puffy and super frizzy which makes them stick together. I use sissors to cut them apart but now this is causing me problems because I am getting so fucking many lose hairs
