are you talking to me? i have no idea if you are and my head hurts so i cant think hard to figure it out.. um, if you are.- i dont know how what i said would say im proud of being honest. death is always sad but with all the death you hear about all the time... no, i would not be truly sad at a couple of more deaths of people that CHOOSE to do what they do, know the risks, that i dont know... *shrugs*
yes i would feel really sad, just like the two other times it has happened. although for some reason when the first one exploded taking off, that one seems a lot worse than the most recent one. guess cuz i saw it actually happen on tv and didnt see the more recent one fall apart.
It's a great risk, choice and fundamental honor to even be given the opportunity, if I cared as much I'd feel joy and happiness that they died while embarking on such a monumental historic feat, one that they probably dreamed of all of their lives. Could we all be so lucky as to die in such a way??
It would suck to see some more people die over useless things. But they took that chance when leaving the atmosphere. They have familys that will miss them, thats too bad. But they know what there doin.
That is a great point, they are doing something they've thought about every day since they were 5...but thats another reason not to feel sad. I don't want them dead, but still..people around this forum are always saying people that shoot up, have sex, and do drugs are asking to die...how about launching into outer space to hang out or driving around a track at 200 mph dodging other cars
i don't know. i might be somewhat sad...i dunno though, its not like i personally know them. i'll feel sad for their families and what not... but will it affect my life in any way? no, i'll still go about my daily routine or whatever i decide to do. they know the risks of the job, they prepare for it. i really don't know though...
well all I'm saying is that I would be more sad if anyone that replied in this thread died, unless they are posting from the space station lets get some unity in here
awwwwwww you would be sad if i died..how sweet. I understand at least i think i understand what you are trying to say. i would be more sad if someone from the forums died rather than the shuttle people, not that i really know many of you, but all the same there would be that odd bond of seeing your posts and such, and unlike the shuttle people, i wouldnt really have a bond with them, even though it would be sad if they all died. damn i just dont think my reply is making much sense.
I wish I was so lucky, I love fast german cars, often drive my own german cars fast. Outer space??? Perhaps if i was a better a student/ Lucky those who are.
